Cox, un ing\u00e9nieur am\u00e9ricain travaillant dans une mine de fer, appel\u00e9e Daiquiri, \u00e0 l&rsquo;est de Cuba.<br \/>\nEn 1922, le propri\u00e9taire du bar havanais Floridita, Constantino Ribalaigua Vert, surnomm\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0El Grande Constante\u00a0\u00bb pour le soin qu&rsquo;il apportait \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer les cocktails, a am\u00e9lior\u00e9 la recette originale. Il a mixer les ingr\u00e9dients avec de la glace piqu\u00e9e et a ainsi invent\u00e9 une boisson super rafra\u00eechissante : le Da\u00efquiri Floridita.<br \/>\nLe cocktail est aussi appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Hemingway Da\u00efquiri\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Papa Da\u00efquiri\u00a0\u00bb, ou encore \u00ab\u00a0Da\u00efquiri Sauvage\u00a0\u00bb.
