Beaucoup d&rsquo;histoires relatives \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine le l&rsquo;Irish Coffee sont racont\u00e9es, mais le vrai cocktail est cr\u00e9\u00e9 entre 1939 et 1945 par M. Joseph Sheridan, le chef principal chez Foynes (Co. Limerick) en Irlande. <\/p>\n<p>A l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, les vols transatlantiques en hydravion arrivaient \u00e0 l&rsquo;a\u00e9roport de Shannon apr\u00e8s un voyage glacial de 18 heures. D\u00e9sol\u00e9s et blas\u00e9s par ces conditions climatiques, les passagers appr\u00e9ciaient une tasse de caf\u00e9 ou de th\u00e9 chaud. Brendan O&rsquo;Regan, jeune directeur du service de restauration chez Foynes, a cru qu&rsquo;ils aimeraient prendre quelque chose de plus fort. M. Joseph Sheridan, a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;occasion ce qui est maintenant connu sous le nom de Irish Coffee. Une plaque visible \u00e0 l&rsquo;a\u00e9roport de Shannon comm\u00e9more sa cr\u00e9ation.<\/p>\n<p>Plus tard, un journaliste am\u00e9ricain Stanton Delaplane a import\u00e9 la recette aux USA en 1952 en la transmettant au bar \u00ab\u00a0Buena Vista Club\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 San Fransisco, dont le propri\u00e9taire Jack Koeppler en a fait sa sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;a rendue connue. <\/p>\n<p>Voici la recette originale de Irish Coffee :<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/epicuria.twivi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2010\/03\/irish-coffee-1.jpg?resize=375%2C500\" alt=\"irish-coffee\" title=\"irish-coffee\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1247\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingr\u00e9dients (pour 1 personne)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 cubes de sucre roux<br \/>\ncr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche<br \/>\n4 cl de caf\u00e9 fort<br \/>\n3 cl de whisky<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pr\u00e9paration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.Dans une casserole, faire chauffer le whisky avec le sucre \u00e0 feu doux. Remuer jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la dissolution compl\u00e8te du sucre.<br \/>\n2.Pr\u00e9parer un caf\u00e9 noir fort.<br \/>\n3.Verser le whisky et le caf\u00e9 dans un grand verre \u00e0 pied r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la chaleur (rinc\u00e9 au pr\u00e9alable \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau chaude) et remuer l\u00e9g\u00e8rement.<br \/>\n4.Faire monter la cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche en la fouettant \u00e9nergiquement (placer la au cong\u00e9lateur 20 minutes avant de commencer).<br \/>\n5.La verser sur le whisky sucr\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9guster sans attendre !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cette boisson r\u00e9chauffante est appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 dans le monde entier.
